Weekly Update | November 17, 2024

Mark your calendars today, and join us on December 1st at 4pm for a special service of Lessons & Carols on the First Sunday in Advent.

For it is on this day, St. John’s Cathedral will begin celebrating 100 years of ministry and service in this glorious, historic church. We will hear the St. John’s Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Dr. Christopher Gravis, followed by a lovely catered reception. This gathering is the start of a second century of development and engagement. More about our plans for the future will be shared at that time. May the light of Christ brighten our days for generations to come.

I give thanks to the Centennial Committee, co-chaired by Mr. Rick Nordin, Deacon Margaret H. McCauley, and Mr. Arcadio Morales, as well as Senior Warden Lurelean Gaines and all members of this committee for marking this special occasion. Be on the watch for more news and history. We hope you can attend.

With love and blessings,

Anne+
