Compline at the Cathedral

The service is sung in its entirety by the choir under the direction of Dr. Christopher Gravis with a time for light refreshment and fellowship afterwards. The ancient office of Compline derives its name from a Latin word meaning ‘completion’ (completorium). It is above all a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day.
